As a part of an Agreed Order with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Gallatin Public Utilities was required to prepare a Sanitary Sewer Overflow Evaluation Report (SSOER) for all confirmed sanitary sewer overflows within the wastewater collection system during a defined 12 month period. The Sanitary Sewer Overflow Evaluation Report contacts information such as, the beginning and ending date of the overflow, the duration of the overflow, the location of the overflow, the cause of the overflow, measures taken or to be taken to eliminate the overflow, and other information. Anyone wishing to review or comment on these changes may do so at: Gallatin Public Utilities – Administrative Building, 239 Hancock Street, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066 between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. These documents will be open for public review and comment for sixty (60) days from the posting of this notice. A copy of the Sanitary Sewer Overflow Evaluation Report and all public comments regarding this report will be submitted to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for their review and approval.

In accordance with Tennessee Rule 0400-40-14-.18, public notification is required of all substantial modifications to an approved industrial pretreatment program. The City of Gallatin Department of Public Utilities is proposing to make modifications to its approved Pretreatment Program. these modifications include revisions to the approved Sewer Use Ordinance and local limits updates. This advertisement is to serve as notice of these proposed changes. Anyone wishing to review or comment on these changes may do so at: Gallatin Public Utilities Administrative Building, 239 Hancock Street, Gallatin, TN 37066, between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. These documents will be open for public review and comment for thirty (30) days from the printing of this notice.
